General Manager (UK).
Responsible:
To be the General Manager of the site. Manage and lead a team of people.
- Ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable management of the facility in line with regulatory compliance and Company requirements.
- Seeking to improve the company’s competitive position through innovative ways of ensuring cost efficient operations and continuous improvement.
- Customer management and Customer Satisfaction across all aircraft projects and services.
- Planning, defining and controlling the yearly budget to ensure necessary resources are available, as well as control expenses and reduce costs.
- Providing appropriate resources/training/equipment in conjunction with the team leaders.
- Negotiating and reviewing service contracts to ensure provision of quality and cost effective support.
- Proactive approach in managing Key Performance Indicators for the business using relevant metrics as a means to continuously drive improvements.
- Responsible for Health & Safety, Housekeeping and accidents.
- Overseeing Audits and Training.
- Schedule adherence & Turnaround Time.
- Data Accuracy.
- Cost: Indirect and Direct.
- Turnover.
- People.
Requirements:
- Proactive management approach.
- Customer focused – flexible and adaptable
- Experience in aviation is a desirable criteria
- Degree or other equivalent experience in Engineering or Business Management or relevant disciplines.
- Enjoys leading by example and aims to set a continuous improvement culture
- Confidence and experience in budgeting and cost management
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
