Full Time Pilot

Gloucester based business is looking for a full time pilot to captain a Cessna 208B. The aircraft supports our logistics operation collecting and delivering live baby eels in Europe during the winter and spring. In the summer the aircraft is used to provide live TV coverage for the major European golf tournaments.

UK Glass Eels was established 50 years ago and the aviation logistics operation 20 years ago. The aircraft flies between 200 and 400 hours a year. Any additional support is provided by contract pilots. The role includes besides flying duties, flight planning, liaising with handling agents, clients etc. We are looking for someone to take ownership of the role of managing the aircraft.

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

• EASA CPL Instrument Rating
• Fly experience. Ideally pilots would have a minimum of 1000 hours on fixed wing total time, 500 hours fixed wing turbine time and a 100 hours on type. However for a candidate taking permanent position these hours are negotiable with the insurers.
