Flight Training Instructor

This Instructor position will conduct pilot training and evaluation for pilots of Delta Air Lines as well as pilots from other carriers that Delta has contracted to provide training services. Training modules include line oriented flight training, selected event training, special purpose operational training, basic systems and systems integration training. Evaluation modules include systems validations, procedure and automation validations, maneuver validations and line oriented evaluations. Training and evaluations will take place in varied environments and media including full flight simulators, flight training devices, and classrooms

At least 2,000 hours of experience as an airman (for NSLIs hired after June 21, 2001, at least 2,000 hours of experience as an airman in Part 121 operations or equivalent commercial air carrier experience). An Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (and the ability to obtain un-restricted type ratings) The applicant needs to be familiar with technology required for the job including, but not limited to: Establishing internet or cell data connections to access company information and schedules Use of email and email folders dedicated to their duties as instructors/evaluators Use of Word and Excel Desired
