Job Role:
Excel have been asked to find experienced Flight Test Engineer to join our well known UK based client and assist with aviation trials on newly developed, often experimental aircraft and equipment.
Working as part of a 3 person Flight Test team, your main responsibility will be to ensure safe, effective and compliant testing is delivered to various end users and stakeholders by identifying potential risks and issues during the planning stages of each test programme. Once the test is underway you will also have responsibility for the regulation of the trials, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with plans and in a safe manner.
To be considered you must be able to show some experience of working as a Flight Test Engineer in either a military or civilian environment. You must have been directly involved with aircraft testing at all stages, from design through evaluation of results and be able to demonstrate hazard and risk assessment experience within flight test.
Ideally you will specialise in Aeronautical or Electromechanical disciplines and will have flight test hours, training or teaching experience would be an advantage here too.
