Work Pattern             Alternate weeks of days and nights    Mon to Fri Days 40 Hrs                                                                                     Mon to Thu Nights 40 Hrs

Responsible to:          AOC Support Supervisor

Role Summary

Provide effective & efficient assistance for the Flight Operations Support Officer in the day-to-day support activities associated with Flight Operations.

 Act as deputy for the Operations Support Officer in their absence.

Responsibilities

Ø Effective organization of the Flight Kits containing aerodrome charts. Including update, distribution, tracking and inspection.

Ø Assist with new route analysis and production of crew briefs.

Ø Timely distribution of documents.

Ø Deliver an efficient and accurate administration service within operations support to maintain compliance with EU-ETS requirements and departmental procedures.

Ø Assist with the download, programming and distribution of electronic navigation databases.

Ø Regular and as directed auditing of aircraft documents during scheduled maintenance and turnaround to ensure all aircraft carry the valid and required materials.

Ø Assist with the Electronic Flight Bag project.

Ø Responsible for controlling all aircraft consumables. Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained at all times and aircraft are stocked.

Ø Any other duties pertinent to the role as instructed by the AOC Support Supervisor  or the Operations Support Officer  

Academic/Educational Requirements

  • Educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent

Required Skills/Experience/knowledge:

  • Previous airline experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Possess professional, friendly and customer-focused personality.
  • Good knowledge of the use of MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • Proven problem solving & planning skills.
  • Ability to get an EMA airside pass.
  • Due to the travel involved in aircraft auditing a passport and full driving license are essential.

Salary

·         £17,967 basic

·         £2000 Shift allowance
