JOB PURPOSE:

The Hawk T-165 TMIS Planner is an integral part of the KFAB O&AT training delivery team.

The TMIS Planner is to ensure that the daily schedule is correctly displayed and to assist the Duty Officer (DO) and the other members of the TMIS team with any changes to the schedule that are required throughout the working period.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The TMIS Supervisor (TMIS Sup) is the line manager for the TMIS Planner.

Under the guidance of the TMIS Sup, the TMIS Planner is to:

Ensure the daily schedule is loaded and displayed correctly in Operations.
Assist the Duty Officer by changing the daily schedule as directed.
Liaise with the Maintenance Planners to ensure the correct aircraft information is displayed and allocated to the correct missions.
Ensure that the Weather, NOTAMS and other Flight Operations information is updated on FlightPro in a timely fashion and displayed correctly.
Save and transfer FlightPro data to produce reports and charts as required by the DO and the Operations Working Guide.
Performs other related duties as directed.

The job holder will carry out the tasks listed above in the Transition Phase and be conversant with FlightPro and its Data Dictionary.

Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their assigned position.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION:

The job holder must have good English, Maths and an approved science / technology-based subject qualification.

The job holder will have relevant experience supported by formal, recorded work place applied related training.

Must have worked and had experience in a Flight Operations (Flt Ops) environment with direct exposure to flight planning.

The job holder must have the ability to communicate effectively and must be fluent in English language, both written and spoken.
The job holder must be able to understand technical documentation unambiguously as well as understanding of RAF or RSAF Flight Training.

A recruitment specification of this role also involves being computer literate with Microsoft Office 2010 suite.

Knowledge of database systems architecture would be desirable for this role.

Basic = £2326.13
Overseas Allowance: £600.54
Pension = £209.35 (9% of basic)
