We are seeking for a Flight operations/Performance engineer for one of our clients in the far east.

The perfect candidate will perform flight operations engineering for the Boeing fleet. He/she shall have previous airlines experience of working with airline specific problems and issues related to flight operations.

The company use the following performance engineering tools, programmes and software:

• BPS – Boeing Performance Software.
• BCOP – Boeing Climb-Out Program.
• PET – Performance Engineering tool.
• SITA FBOL.
• SITAONAIR Flight Planning.

Operating environments are:

• Local CAA.
• International scheduled and charter flights to Europe and Asia.
• IOSA Standard Manual.
• FAR (EU-OPS for European flights) for operations engineering.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop engine out, climb out procedures and take-off and landing analysis charts for airports used by the company including Engine-out non-standard SID procedures.
• Inspect and develop critical en-route engine out, driftdown and oxygen analysis for all routes of the airline.
• Inspect and revise aerodrome qualification requirements.
• Inspect and revise aerodrome operating and planning minima.
• Inspect and adjust operational flight planning system SITA Flight Briefing Online System and SITAONAIR Flight Planning.
• Explain and facilitate/teaching best practices of aircraft performance engineering for our Flight Operations and Performance engineers and Aircraft dispatchers using the corporative software and programmes.
• perform on-the-job training for performance engineers.
• analysis and implementing applicable AFM supplements.

Conditions of Contract:

• 3 months (renewable).
• 40 hour working week.
• Usually Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00.
• Fully furnished apartment.
• Transportation between city and airport.
• Staff canteen.
• Onsite Parking.
• No smoking environment. 

Requirements

• More than 5 years’ experience in airlines flight operations and performance engineering on narrow or wide body jet airplanes.
• Able to perform all above mentioned functions and tasks.
• User of Boeing performance engineering tools:
• BPS – Boeing Performance Software.
• BCOP – Boeing Climb-Out Program.
• PET – Performance Engineering tool.
• SITA FBOL and/or SITAONAIR Flight Planning.

Optional Requirements:

Valid FAA or any other equivalent aircraft dispatcher’s license.
