Vacancy Announcement DATE: October 19, 2018 TO: All Qualified Applicants FROM: Human Resources RE: Flight Data Analyst LOCATION: Anchorage, Alaska CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled This announcement is for a Flight Data Analyst for Ravn Air Group. This position reports to the Director of Flight Standards for Ravn Connect and is responsible for assisting with the verification of flight crew compliance. The successful candidate will have a valid FAA pilot license, a high attention to detail, and very strong computer skills. This is a non-exempt, full time, benefits-eligible position. Position typically works Monday through Friday in Anchorage, however overtime may be required as dictated by business needs and with management approval. Minimum Qualifications  High School Diploma/GED required, some college preferred;  Must have FAA pilot license; FAA commercial license or higher is preferred;  Pilot experience in Cessna C207 or C208, Piper PA-31, Beechcraft 1900 or similar aircraft is highly preferred;  Excellent written and oral communication skills;  Must be detail-oriented, and have a high attention to accuracy;  Capable of working independently or as a team member;  Strong prioritization and time management skills;  Must have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;  Requires a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS);  Able to pass a comprehensive background check;  Comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft. Duties & Responsibilities  Responsible for supporting and assisting the Director of Flight Standards for Ravn Connect in verifying flight crew compliance with regulatory requirements and Company policy and procedures through data analysis and investigation, and assisting the flight ops department as needed; ------------  Monitor flight tracking software, analyze safety reports, and investigate anomalies to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and Company policy and procedures;  Support and assist the Director of Flight Standards for Ravn Connect in the continued development and maintenance of the Flight Standards Manuals;  Coordinate with the Safety department to analyze FOQA data for use to further improve training and flight operating policies and procedures;  Promote the Company safety culture;  Other duties as assigned and within the scope of this position.
