Fleet Technical Representative Long Haul Germany

Job Objective

Follow-up of all maintenance activities in order to guarantee a good quality and on-time performance of the A330/340 fleet based in Germany (Dusseldorf). This function will act as a first point of contact for the subcontracted line maintenance activities

Key result areas

Daily follow-up of all technical problems of the A330/340 fleet (both for homebase Dusseldorf as in outstation):

* Review all maintenance entries in ATL, Bill of work, deferred maintenance items, CRS, etc for correctness and completeness

* Follow up of Key Performance Indicators

* Prioritize open defects (DIL) and coordinate closure of open defects

* Follow up of ongoing troubleshooting for long lasting issues

* Advise technical pilot

* Supervise logistical chain to assure timely delivery of part

Coordinate “Bill of Work” (BOW) performed by subcontractor: act as Part-M representative to approve issuance of BOW, as well as the release of BOW. Follow up of open items after release of BOW

Assure a technical on time performance of the long haul fleet (both for homebase Dusseldorf as in outstation) :

* Gather feedback from Brussels Airlines crew about technical issues

* Supervise performance of subcontractor (available manpower, quality, processes, …)

* Analyze delays and propose measurements to avoid re-occurance

In case of delay: communication with IOCC/MOCC BRU/LHT supervisor to assure correct information is given and to minimize the consequences for passengers (both for homebase Dusseldorf as in outstation)s

Continuous improvement of the processes based on lessons learned

Your Profile

* Minimum 3 years of experience as an aircraft technician on A330 or A340. JAR66 B1 and/or B2 license on A330 or A340 is an advantage

* Good knowledge of EASA procedures.

* Good communication skills and assertiveness combined with diplomacy, able to act as a representative of our company, can coop with stress.

* Good social skills.

* Self-starter, able to work autonomously, and to deliver advises.

* Very good sense of responsibility.

* Work ethics focused on quality.

* Able to comply with rules, procedures and internal arrangements.

* Very good administrative and organizational skills, accurateness is a must
