Fleet Support Engineer

Responsible to: Maintenance Manager/Technical & Nightshift Controller on a day to day basis

 

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:

 • Completion of the tasks allocated to them on a shift by shift basis by the Technical Controller, or carried out as part of their routine duties, in accordance with company procedures;

 • Certification of the work carried out by themselves under the terms of, and within the limitations set by, the personal company authorisation issued to them;

 • Assuming the duties and responsibilities of Technical Controller when this position is allocated to them;

 • Supervision duties in respect of the mechanics, handlers, Interiors Technicians and aircraft cleaners;

 • Ensuring that they are familiar with the CAMOE procedures which affect their duties;

 • Performing engineering duties ‘Away from Base’ or on outstations as detailed by the Maintenance Manager or Technical Controller, including acting in, and representing the Company in a manner acceptable to the Company;

 • Performing the duties of a company representative during the fleet aircraft base maintenance;

 • Operate as a flying engineer on flights that require such a function with the ability to depart with the aircraft at short notice;

 • Ensuring that the cleanliness and interior trim of the aircraft are maintained to company standard;

 • Ensuring that the engineering facility, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable and aircraft are positioned in the hangar or on the Titan designated parking area wherever possible;

 • Shift work including nights.

 

  Experience:

• Current Full B1 Licence with at least 2 type ratings (B737,B757,B767 or A320 family)
• At least 5 years proven aircraft line maintenance experience
• Full, current and unrestricted driving licence
• The ability to reside,work and travel freely in the EU
• Be able to provide information for five year employment/education references and Criminal Records Check (for UK and Overseas if applicable)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening
