Fleet Manager
(based in Bucharest)
Purpose of the position:
To ensure that all maintenance carried out on the Wizz Air fleet in a dedicated region is completed by the MROs in accordance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures and standards.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all maintenance carried out on the Wizz Air fleet in a dedicated region is completed in accordance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures and standards.
* Monitoring of technical status of aircraft fleet on a day to day basis
* Coordination of defect rectification with Contracted Maintenance Provider and MCC
* Coordination of other maintenance related functions with ground handling contractors (e.g. aircraft washing)
* Assistance in continuous process improvement to ensure optimized communication and cooperation process between LLM supplier and Wizz Air departments
* Oversight of hangar and stores facilities
* Provision of general engineering/technical advice to flight/cabin crew
* Oversight of update of the local technical Library
* Assist in coordination of down route maintenance support
* Management and monitoring of Contracted Maintenance Provider’s performance of contractual obligations.
* Performance of physical spot-checks on aircraft and maintenance providers
* Participation in technical seasonal flight schedule planning to ensure consideration of required technical aircraft downtimes according to the maintenance contract
* Participation in Invoice checking and cost control
* Training of contracted maintenance provider’s staff for Wizz Airs applicable procedures.
* Manage the ARC renewal and extension procedures
* follow applicable requirements of Safety Management System i.a.w. Section 4 of OMM
* Authorization scope:
* Issue statement for compliance with AD, SB, EO, Part-21 modifications and repairs status
* Issue of Work Order for performance by contracted Maintenance Organization
Authorization scope:
* Issue statement for compliance with AD, SB, EO, Part-21 modifications and repairs status
* Issue of Work Order for performance by contracted MRO
* Approve vendor invoices
Requirements:
* Finalized University or College Degree
* Fluent English knowledge;
* A320FAM type training (Level III);
* Fuel Tank Safety Training Level 2;
* EWIS training;
* Human Factors training;
* Thorough knowledge of Part-145 and Part-M regulation;
* Knowledge of maintenance methods
* Thorough knowledge of the CAME
* Five years relevant work experience within a Part-145 or Part-M approved organization;
* Good knowledge of AMOS and MS Office tools
