* Troubleshoot existing electronics and firmware.
* Design electronics pertaining to motor servo systems, discreet analog electronics and digital electronics.
* Design embedded microcontroller firmware in ‘C’.
* Design VHDL firmware in embedded application.
* Design and layout Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) from concept to finished product.

Qualification:

7+ years experience required.

Required Skills: Analog electronics design and troubleshooting to component level in low to mid power range. Digital electronics design and troubleshooting to component level. Motor servo system design for brushed and brushless motors. Schematic capture and Printed Circuit Board layout.

Preferred Skills: Orcad Capture/Layout PCB design software. Embedded firmware development in ‘C’ for Microchip PIC controllers. Familiar with Xilinx VHDL ISE environment. Familiar with National Instruments Labview environment for Test Development. Design electrical tests and write test procedures.

Competencies: Good verbal and written communications.

Some travel may be required.

Candidate must have the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance.
