Moog Aircraft Group is seeking a reliable and independent Finisher B to perform various bench and machine operations (cleaning, polishing, breaking edges, etc.) at our East Aurora, NY Moog location.

Responsibilities Include...

* Perform required bench and machine operations to clean, polish, break edges, form radii, blend defects, reprove contamination, remove excess material, remove flash, and detect unusual defect in material or workmanship

* Ability to work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and plastic bodies to plan entire sequence of work performed

* Ability to select, sharpen, and/or make special tooling as required, as well as selecting lighting aids, inspection gages and visual magnification as required in order to meet quality specifications

* Excellent visual acuteness and eye/hand coordination are required to perform the job

* Exceptional attention to detail in order to visually inspect one’s own work to ensure that parts meet the quality and quantity required, as well as being able to detecting abnormalities and reacting them

* Ability to work with small parts in order to perform all finishing and detail work on parts

You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus over 3 months of related experience.
