We are looking to strengthen our growing finance team with a new Financial Controller. You will be responsible for the financial reporting and controlling of several legal entities within the business area People and Services. This business area consists of a number of entities based in different countries handling crew services, airline operative support services and administrative services for the Norwegian group.

In addition to periodic reporting tasks, you will have the opportunity to contribute in different projects across the finance department and use your knowledge and skills in a dynamic and exciting work environment.

Job description

• Monitoring, analysis and reporting of figures on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis to the group

• Preparation of statutory accounts and tax papers for the respective companies

• Communication with the auditor and follow-up of yearly audit

• Preparation of branch accounts for relevant entities

• Settlement and follow up of Intercompany transactions (including billing)

• Monthly accruals

• Participation in projects across finance department related to process efficiency and improvements

• Other ad hoc tasks within the finance team

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience from similar positions and/or audit

• Higher financial/economic education

• Good understanding of financial reporting and accounting

• IFRS knowledge is preferable

• Familiar with ERP and reporting systems, preferably SAP and Cognos

• Good excel and IT system competence

• Experience from international business
