Reporting into the Transformation Manager of Revenue Performance within Jetstar Airways Commercial Finance, you will support your manager to streamline the revenue and cost forecast process for Jetstar Airways and JBA functions and support the introduction of advanced analytics tools as part of the data sMart introduction.
Your main accountabilities will include:
• Support the Transformation Manager in the development and implementation of a short, medium and long-term plan to improve forecast and planning processes, with a focus on reducing manual processes and automation
• Short-term focus will be working with revenue stakeholders to develop and implement a plan to automate costs and mid-term ancillary revenue
• Long-term focus will be supporting transformation manager in implementing route profitability as a forecasting tool
• Managing the integration and centralisation of all off-line data sources into central depository (TM1/Data Warehouse), including market capacity, event calendars
• Support analysis of strategic opportunities, including the evaluation and due diligence of new initiatives, products and investment opportunities
• Support preparation and presentation of insight-focused documents for management meetings
• Regular support for ad-hoc analysis requests Manage the development and reporting of all KPI tracking to the Jetstar Executive Team with a clear and consistent presentation of performance.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:
• Professional accounting (CPA/CA) or equivalent finance qualification preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience in the management accounting/business analyst arena
• Experience with PowerBI is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience with business partnering in a fast-paced commercial environment
• Strong computer based skills (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and cause-and-effect skills
• Experienced in preparing and delivery of presentations to Senior Management
• Preferable airline or high turnover/low margin large industry experience
• Highly developed ability to work independently and meet regular deadlines
• Highly developed financial modelling skills.
