Are you a Field Service Engineer with experience in CNC machinery, are you looking for a new challenge, we are looking for individuals just like you!

This role is primarily to, commission, repair and maintain CNC machinery in the Reading area.

The successful candidate will be professional with a keen sense of detail that has sound mechanical knowledge of CNC machinery.

Overtime

Monday - Friday Basic flat rate

Saturday Basic flat rate x 1.5

Sunday Basic flat rate x 2.0

Product specific training given at our Principals

Responsibilities include:

  • Installation and commissioning of machines
  • Routine maintenance and Preventative Maintenance contracts
  • Breakdown support in terms of fault diagnosis & repair
  • Maintenance/Customer Training
  • 60/40 Electrical bias usually more effective and attention to detail a high requirement
  • Mechanically biased engineers need to be confident of machine control operation and use of diagnosis, electrical knowledge required
  • Sound mechanical knowledge of CNC machines required, required to perform mechanical tasks, exchange ball screws, spindles, geometric alignments.

Experience, qualifications and skills:

Products: Experience with the following machines would be beneficial but training will be provided at our German principals.

  • Zimmermann
  • Burkhardt-Weber
  • Traub
