Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

In this Entry Level Management position our Facility Project Manager must keep both the company goals and customer expectations in mind when overseeing daily operations.

Primary liaison with American Airlines Corporate Real Estate Team and the Philadelphia Department of Aviation. Represent the interest of American Airlines Regional/Piedmont Airlines in the Projects at PHL. Oversight manager for vendor contracts including custodial, pest control, electrical, environmental, etc. Manage various facility projects and routine maintenance, ensuring a professional appearance for our customers. Oversee and direct facility staff. Ensure building codes and regulations are met, including maintaining proper documentation. Administrative duties may include daily/weekly/monthly reports. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• General construction knowledge
• Project management
• Previous management experience
• Team oriented
• Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
• Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite
• Flexible schedule
• Motivation to succeed
• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of AOA environment
• Major building construction experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

Work Environment:
• Airport ramp environment, weather variations and elevated noise levels
• Work weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts as needed

Physical Requirements:
Frequent stooping, bending, walking, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
