It has been five years since VistaJet established its operational headquarters in Malta. Today, 250 team members, from 31 different nationalities, work at our office at SkyParks Business Centre. We are creating a new Engineering team in Malta and are looking for a Facility and Training Administrator for our Maintenance facility.

Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and our staff training records, as well as the training schedule,

 

This is role offers a broad remit of responsibilities and exposure.  Your main responsibilities will include:

 Facilities Duties

 

  • Responsible for maintaining the Malta Maintenance facility;
  • First point of contact for new starts or visitors;
  • Keep all maintenance records up to do and maintained. Organize all refresher and renewal training for staff as per records;
  • Identify available training courses to support the maintenance requirements and organising attendees;
  • Schedule all maintenance for appliances in the Hangar and Offices;
  • Liaise with HR regarding Staff accommodation, hire cars and permits;

Training Duties

  • Maintain all staff records;
  • Providing all security access to Staff;
  • Run reports identifying staff whose authorisations are nearing expiration and raising this within a timely manner in order to place the staff member on a course before expiration
  • Provide training reports of all staff for quality audits;
  • Supply the necessary training documents for customers and storage of the organisations training records;
  • To report to the Head of Part 145 Maintenance on a regular basis, highlighting any administrative facility or training problems encountered and suggesting possible improvements;

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 1-year experience within an Office Administrator role.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience dealing with Petty Cash would be advantageous
