Facilities Manager

What the role is:

You will be responsible for providing support all aspects of building maintenance, ensuring unit Compliance for all maintenance matters. You will be responsible for managing the property data base, whilst acting as the point of contact for matters related to Rates. Role can be based in London London Heathrow Airport, UK Airports or Manchester.

What you’ll be doing will include:

Maintenance:

In conjunction with Facilities Administrator, compile and review unit Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules – ‘Wall planners’

*

Audit all legislative aspects of maintenance in conjunction with unit management and Central Compliance

*

Assist units in obtaining appropriate suppliers / quotations for small to medium sized projects / emergency works

*

Work with the Procurement Indirect Manager to assist in compiling Service contracts / Service Level Agreements

*

Work with Central Compliance to compile and manage Business Continuity Plans

*

Liase with consultants as appropriate on specific functions e.g. refrigeration.

*

Review and update the property section of the company Risk Register

Property:

Manage and update the Property Data Base

*

Compile Signature Sign Off forms for all events

*

Act as the point of contact with our consultant, LSH, on all aspects of rating

*

Circulate information provided / obtain information for LSH

*

Act as the Alpha LSG administrator for online rating appeals

*

Assist, alongside the unit teams, on Risk Engineering surveys and their proposals

What you’ll have will include:

Ability to build internal and external relationships

A broad general understanding of maintenance management

*

Able to research solutions to specific maintenance issues

*

Strong presentation skills, being able to collateinformation in succinct format

*

To be self motivated and proactive
