Job Description
SUMMARY
This is highly responsible and detailed clerical work within the maintenance department, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. Work involves distribution of information and messages by direct personal, written, two-way radio, or telephone contact.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
* Data Entry into eMaint
* Inventory Distribution
* Parts Reordering
* Inventory Cycle Counts
* Radio Protocol
* Technician Prioritization
* Other activities as identified by the Maintenance Manager
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of high school education and considerable experience in clerical work supplemented with some dispatching experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Considerable knowledge of office practices, procedures, equipment, and standard clerical techniques.
Some knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices.
Some knowledge of building maintenance needs and service requirements.
Some knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment of the building trades.
Ability to obtain the proper information through verbal, written, and personal contact.
Ability to analyze situations promptly and to determine proper course of action.
Ability to speak and write effectively.
