Job Description

F-35 WIPT SDB I / SDB II Integration Engineer. This senior systems engineer delivers engineering and technical support for the Small Diameter Bomb I and II (SDB I, II) as a member of the F-35 Weapons Integration Product Team (WIPT). This position is the SDB weapon integration focal point on the WIPT. This position is located at Eglin AFB, Florida.

Essential Job Functions:

The successful applicant will be responsible to advise and assist the Government customer:

Maintains insight and coordinates activities related to SDB I,II functional integration, laboratory test, interface management and flight test planning

Coordinate test activity with other Government agencies such as JOTT and DOT&E.

Perform ground and flight test planning, primarily related to stores/AME/S&RE environmental compatibility and certification

Provide technical guidance to the contractor and the Joint Program Office for support of current and future DT/OT testing.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelors degree in engineering with 12+ years of demonstrated experience in weaponeering, especially with the SDB variants..

Must be able to obtain and maintain program security clearances.

Must be able to travel as required.
