F-35 WIPT Mission Systems Architecture and Airworthiness Test Engineer. This senior program engineer, as a member of the Weapons Integration Product Team (WIPT), provides support and technical expertise to the F-35 Program for development, production, and sustainment for Mission Systems (MS) and Airworthiness (A/W). The successful applicant will work directly with Lockheed Martin (LM) System Integration and Test (SI&T) engineers in Fort Worth specifically to manage the liaison between LM and Program technical personnel and objectives. This position is located in Fort Worth, TX.
Essential Job Functions:
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Providing JPO/Government Support and expertise to F-35 Mission Systems Integration Laboratory (MSIL) and Flight Testing
Support for F35 Development & Integration Test
Support for F35 Formal Lab Release Testing
Support to the MS IPT for MSIL testing
Support to A/W Avionics Certification for Formal and Final Flight Releases
Support to LRIP A/W
Support to FMS A/W
Support for MS Flight Series Documents
Support for F-35 follow on development efforts
Support to MS Architecture and A/W Team Modernization/Block 4 Planning
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A Bachelors degree in engineering with 12+ years of significant systems engineering and test experience to include MSIL maintenance and operations.
Must be able to obtain and maintain program security clearances.
Integration laboratory experience is required.
Must be able to travel as required.
