Job Role:

Lodahl Aero are currently recruiting on behalf of our global aviation client and looking for an Experimental Test Pilot to join them on a permanent basis at their UK headquarters.
 
The Role:
* Responsible for the conduct and safety of all test flights under the terms of an EASA Permit to Fly, B-Conditions, Military Permit to Fly (MPTF) and associated procedures.
* Conduct helicopter maintenance flight tests and ferries between operator and customer bases.
* Assist the Chief Test Pilot in day to day maintenance flight operations scheduling in conjunction with business demands under EASA regulation.
* Assist the CTP with the administration and safe operations of flights under MAA regulation within the companies CFAOS clearance.
* Support Sales team with flight topics to promote the sale of products and features
* Represent the company with both commercial and military customers at meetings, symposiums or industry events.
The candidate:
* Be capable of holding numerous complex helicopter type ratings as required by the role.
* Capable of holding a Class One EASA Medical
* Good communicator capable of representing the company to private, commercial and military customers
* A good aviation background with an understanding of aircraft systems and engineering
* Maintain knowledge of MAA 2000 series regulations and apply them to the company CFAOS clearance
* Maintain knowledge of  CS 27/29 & Part Ops
* Computer literate in MS Office desktop applications
Qualifications and Experience:
* 2000 hours twin engine flying time; varied flying experience
* Ex military trained pilot an advantage
* NVG qualification an advantage
* Instructor TRI/TRE Ratings an advantage
* Experience of CFAOS an advantage
* Experience as Instructor/Examiner an advantage
* Graduate of a full course recognised test pilot school and hold an EASA Category 1 Flight Test Rating
* Hold a current EASA CPL(H) or equivalent
* Hold a current Twin Instrument Rating
* Be capable of holding Instructor/Examiner ratings as required by the ATO
