Job Role:
The Assembler I is responsible for accurately completing final assembly of circuit boards and products.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is required to work on a fast paced assembly line. Must be able to work 8-10 hour days, part sitting and part standing. Able to use a variety of hand and power tools as well as work instructions.
Specific Responsibilities
Bare PCB-populating components in through hole boards
Final product assemble
Product testing/evaluation at board and finished product level
Soldering / Desoldering
Automated insertion machinery
Wire processing equipment
Bench top equipment
Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawing, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
Rework and/or repair assembled units that failed test
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Must be able to work overtime when warranted
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be able to lift up to 35 pounds, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, bend, twist during the course of the day
- Keep up in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Follow basic policies and procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
