We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Support Coordinator to join our team.

The Engineering Support Coordinator will provide expertise to conduct research, evaluations, studies and analysis, present recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements for engineering projects. Classifies and summarizes data for the preparation and submission of reports on a recurring basis. Provide planning, scheduling, networking, and coordination assistance among all projects and other responsibilities as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Create cut sheets, operating and maintenance manuals, drawing schematics and layouts using Auto CAD following NEC standards
* Follow up on information requests from customers, PAM’s, and vendors to make sure processes flow as fast as possible
* Generate quotes when necessary, work with project scheduler to gather and produce updates for weekly and monthly project reports; both internal and external
* Manage the filing system of literature and promotional sales tools like video, samples, or demos; this includes making sure that we have the latest updated revisions
* Works with Project team to identify and produce project specific technical and commercial documentation and templates as outlined in the project plans
* Maintains project action items and open items lists; tracks open items for completion
* Coordinates weekly project team meetings and meetings with all departments to assist PMs with project execution. Secondary point of contact in the absence of Project Manager.
* Responsible for monitoring all project log files to ensure accuracy of the document status. Typical project log files are submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, Site directives, Risk Opportunity registers, document lists and logs
* Responsible for monitoring all parties for compliance to project documentation processing including but not limited to; filing, tracking, and distributing
* Puts together project estimates and proposals together for review by Project Manager
* Responsible for updating and maintaining department PowerPoint presentations and capability documentation
* Participates in some field activities including but not limited to information gathering and equipment surveys
* Contact customers following sales to ensure on-going customer satisfaction and to resolve any pending issues or concerns.
* Remain current on product developments by attending training (company/supplier), reading trade journals, supplier literature etc.

Qualifications

* Project Support experience preferred
* Bachelors in Engineering related field preferred or current student.
* Knowledge of the distribution industry (Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fluid Power, Electrical, Motors, Motion Control, Material Handling, Bearings) preferred. Knowledge of KIT products a plus.
* A valid driver’s license may be required.
