This position is for our Mirabel site.

In your role, you will;

- Be a member of the design team responsible to conduct reliability & safety studies, perform concept analysis, FMEA, Functional Hazard Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, System Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment for various aircraft systems.
- Participate in Design Reviews internal and with Partners/Suppliers.
- Be responsible for reviewing Partner’s/Supplier’s reports and ensure reliability & safety requirements are met.
- Interface with DAD’s, Systems Engineering & Flight Sciences as part of the Design Team.
- Interface with other internal and external customers (e.g. Airworthiness, Product Support, Marketing, Partners, and Certification Authorities).

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and at least five (5) years in a related experience.
- You have alternatively technical qualification with substantial level of experience and expertise (will be accepted as equivalent).
- You should be familiar with aircraft electrical and mechanical systems.
- You must be familiar with R, M & S tools and procedures (e.g. FMEA, FTA) with logical and analytical mind.
- You have experience with civil aircraft and civil airworthiness regulations.
- You have good writing skills and communication skills in French and English are essential for the position.
- You must possess the ability to work with minimum supervision, be a team player and be a well-motivated self-starter.
- You must also be a person with initiative, strong sense of responsibility and good engineering judgement.
