You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:

- Produce layouts and perform studies of installation of fluid systems such as air, hydraulic and fuel.
- Review and approve vendor data and change requests pertaining to installation design activities
- Translate and apply design requirements into comprehensive design packages that meet Bombardier design practices and airworthiness regulatory requirements
- Provide estimates and statements of work for design related activities
- Prepare and lead design review presentations and technical investigations;
- Support supplier production and final line installations

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You must have an Engineering degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or a Technical diploma with 5-8 years of relevant experience,
- You have at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience and technical expertise in systems installation engineering of fluid systems
- Excellent knowledge of CATIA V5 and Enovia
- You are comfortable with the technical aspects of Engineering as well as Project Management;
- You are able to work autonomously and as a pivotal member of a multi-disciplinary team
- You have strong communication and negotiations skills.
- Fluently bilingual in English and French
