Position Description:
The selected candidate will be a member of the Facilities Planning, Engineering, and Construction organization. Responsible for coordinating with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential facilities electrical engineering projects and products. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, products, and systems for industrial purposes. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications per electrical code. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Develop statements of work, coordinate with contractors to walk projects, request proposals, analyze proposals, and manage project execution.

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Science/Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline, with 0-2 years of direct experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience with Construction project management and design is highly desired.
*
Working knowledge with AutoCAD and REVIT design software to support design documentation is desired.
*
Experience with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*
Strong interpersonal, mediating, and project organizational skills.
*
Experience and understanding of facilities electrical power distribution to include 480V, 240V, 120V, 28V DC, 400Hz power is desired.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
