Activities: Engineer-ELA & CM
Job Description:
The job holder is responsible for delivering Electrical Load analysis and Configuration Management tasks of Electrical system for different aircraft programs on Time, Cost and Quality.
The various activities to be performed are:
* Electrical Load Analysis (SA/LR/A350/A380):
* Input generation from various tool sets
* Patching/update of consumption values for cabin loads
* Network selection based on inputs
* Creation of ELA document and ELA Report
* Comparison checks between different aircraft ELA values
* Analysis of loads at various levels (busbarlevel, TRU level, generator level), overload analysis & justifications
* Analysis of SBs and A/L requests
* Configuration Management for ATA-24 (A350/A380):
* Generation of Part Number for new configuration
* Validation checks for loads related to power centers
* Configuration checks between different aircrafts
* Creation of documents, report in to support/validate change in configuration
* Defining, analyzing and tracking changes related to configuration
* ESAO file creation for FAL testing based on the configuration
Request for Support Activities:
* Specific requests from various stakeholders/customers (design office, customer support, Suppliers, FAL, A/L etc)
* For improvement of Process, Methods and Tools
* Interfacing with relevant counterparts in Europe to ensure maximum effectiveness of deliveries
* Co-ordination/communication with/between different teams/stakeholders to ensure continued activity flow and avoid configuration issues/delays
* Project Management
* Subcontractor management
* Education & Experience
* B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.E., preferably with Electrical System background in the aerospace industry.
* Preferably 3-5 year’s work experience
Required Technical Expertise:
* Overall Knowledge on aircraft and its Systems
* Sound understanding of Electrical System including Generation, Distribution and busbar concepts/technology in Aircraft
* Good understanding of Configuration Management and Change process
* Basic understanding of FAL operations linked to Electrical system and its configuration would be an added advantage
* Working knowledge on VBA or any other coding language would be an added advantage
Soft Skills:
* Ability to work independently & in a team in a transnational environment
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn new skills, self-development
* Being proactive in initiating Process/Product improvement
Experience:
* No constraints (Preferably 3-5 Years)
* Training sessions will be conducted on different aspects of operations as needed
Education & Experience:
* B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.E., preferably with Electrical System background in the aerospace industry.
