Join us as an Electronics/Electronic Test Equipment Design Engineer and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Pittsburgh.

As an Electronics/Electronic Test Equipment Design Engineer you will support and continuously improve the manufacturing of electronics products in the propulsion P&E Pittsburgh site of Bombardier Transportation. In addition, you will design, develop and maintain Control products HW test equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Develop hardware test diagnostics for low voltage electronic PCB´s (Printed Circuit Board) and high voltage power components using Labview, circuit analysis and hardware test/analysis methods;

- Design, support build, qualify, test and troubleshoot the test equipment used in testing electronic components and high voltage power components;

- Work with the drafting department to create appropriate assembly and design drawings for electronic boards and test equipment;

- Work with the project team to meet project schedule and priorities;

- Support and attend external and internal customer design reviews as necessary.

Qualifications

Key requirements:

-
Bachelor´s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent;

-
Two (2) years of experience in an equivalent engineering field;

-
Experience with the Labview test suite software, electronic PCB design, analysis and test equipment design, as well as with electronic test equipment and analysis tools.
