As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall electrical layout and design of the propulsion system power converter box and you will work closely with the mechanical engineering, converter product owners and methods engineering.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the overall electrical layout and design of the propulsion system converter products;
- Support manufacturing localization of various suppliers in the United States for North American market projects;
- Responsible for high voltage and low voltage wiring harnesses, schematics, wire lists, various connectors, and interfaces with all subsystems on a passenger rail car.
Qualifications
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or equivalent knowledge gained for professional experience;
- Specific and detailed knowledge of electrical components for power conversion systems available in the US;
- Transfer of production of wire harnessing, cabling, and electronic components;
- Vendor qualification and process;
- Tooling support and verification;
- Local integration and verification support of supplier electronic components within manufacturing.
