CAE Parc Aviation have been appointed to recruit a Technical Director.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the assessment to a high standard of technical services on company’s aircrafts in line with Manufacturer’s Requirements, in order to minimize risks and maximize safe operation.

  • Maximizing the availability of company’s aircraft through close monitoring and scheduling of all Maintenance Requirements in accordance with approved Maintenance Inspection Programs.

  • Reducing Maintenance-Cost by continuously improving Manpower and process efficiency.

  • Manage the “Maintenance & Engineering” Department’s Manpower: day to day business, Training, Roster, Activities … etc.

  • Manage and ensure adequate supervision in all Technical activities aboard related to Aircraft checks (C Check, etc.)

  • Manage the integrity of all Aircraft Records; and ensure appropriate completeness of documentation as mandated by Aviation Authorities.

  • Ensure accurate records of all Checks, Services and Maintenance or Repair-Activities are created and maintained for future inspection by Aviation Authorities.

  • Ensure Work Orders are released to service in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures to maintain aircraft safety, effective record keeping and minimum downtime

  • Create a Maintenance-Program for new and exist Aircraft, making sure these Aircrafts are kept up to date with changes or modifications mandated by Manufacturers and Aviation Authorities and ultimately ensuring these maintenance plans are strictly applied.

  • Control, Manage, and Initiate the Aircraft, Components, and Engines Warranty-Claims.

  • Supervise the control and management of the Aircraft Technical Library.

  • Develop and generate the “Monthly Maintenance Reliability Reports”

  • Support the Customization of the Maintenance Inspection Program.

  • Develop and monitor department budget, and control third party checks expenses/cost.

  • Handling of Technical-Contracts initiation and implementation with third parties for aircraft Checks and Modifications.

  • Comply with any other assignment as requested by the General Manager/Deputy General Manager

    Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Holder of CAAP or FAA A&P or EASA Maintenance License, and/or a Bachelor degree in Engineering is an advantage

  • At least 5 years of experience with type rating on ATR 42/72 600 (T1, T2, T3, T4, ATR Troubleshooting Course)

  • Experience in Quality, MRO or Technical Services.

  • Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Good command in both written and spoken English

  • Excellent organizational skills and attentive to details

  • Able to work independently and multi-tasking

  • Customer-oriented, results-driven, self-motivated decision maker and problem solver, with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Take full responsibility and display leadership in times of disruption

  • Excellent team-management and motivational skills

  • Be well organized, able to work on own initiative and under pressure

  • Ability to manage interface with aviation authorities, state-owned stakeholders, and complex management relationships

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
