Direct Sales Officer Qatar Airways London Fixed term contract

About Your Job

We are recruiting for a results focused individual to join our UK Direct Sales team on a temporary basis for a fixed term contract of 12 months. You will have line management and revenue responsibility for a total team of 11 staff across our UK Direct Sales locations and will work closely with the European Contact Centre sharing ideas for process improvement.

Reporting directly to the Direct Sales Manager UK and based in London you will have accountability for motivating and influencing the performance of our branded ticket office team at Harrods, Direct Sales & Servicing team as well as our internal department for staff, rebated & interline travel. You will also be responsible for the communication of key messages, policy & procedure within Direct Sales and to the UK commercial business, as well as creating strategies to address any issues affecting performance.   

 

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelors degree
• Strong working knowledge of major CRS/international airline product and procedures including Staff Travel and group bookings
• Experience of working with Amadeus system
• A strong track record in leading sales and/or operational teams
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to think on their feet  
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
