Basic Requirements of Flight Crew:

 Higher School Certificate or equivalent or Country’s highest secondary academic
qualification for expatriate candidates  Medical: Class 1 (In case of medical restrictions Air Mauritius reserves the right not to
accept the medical certificates)  Licenses: ICAO or equivalent standard  Candidates shall meet the requirements of the local authorities  Minimum age: 20 years as at closing date  Except for Mauritian nationals, Direct Entry Jet Captains will be given short term contracts
only Flying Criteria

ATR Captain o Valid ATPL o 4000 flying hours on multi engine aircraft including 1000 flying hours as PIC on ATR o ATR type rated plus a minimum of 100 flying hours on type and 20 sectors as Primary Crew in
the last 12 months A319 Commander o Valid ATPL o 5000 flying hours on commercial air transport aircraft including 1500 flying hours as PIC on
jet aircraft A319 o Airbus A 319 type rated plus a minimum of 100 flying hours on type and 20 sectors as Primary
Crew in the last 12 months A330/A340/A350 Commander o Valid ATPL o 7000 flying hours on commercial air transport aircraft including 2000 flying hours as PIC on
jet aircraft A 330/A340/A350 (as applicable) o Airbus A 330/A340/A350 type rated (as applicable) plus a minimum of 100 flying hours on
type and 20 sectors as Primary Crew in the last 12 months Remuneration and conditions of employment:
