Digital Scrum Master

Core to this strategy is our Digital Team and we are looking for exceptionally talented individuals to join us on the journey.

Our Scrum Masters primary purpose is to ensure adherence to agreed Scrum processes and philosophies, remove impediments for the team and foster a team culture of continuous improvement and flow. As Scrum Master you will be a servant leader and coach for one or more Agile Delivery Teams at Jetstar. Your primary purpose is

Reporting to the Digital Project Management Lead your main accountabilities will include:

* The timely production of the Initiative Delivery Approach, Plan and Sprint Schedule by guiding the team through best practice estimation
* Removing blockers for the team to ensure minimum negative impact on velocity
* Accountable for the teams release/sprint backlog, task board, burn up charts and other Agile reporting deliverables
* Ensuring the team conduct all required Agile ceremonies
* Accountable for dependency management and working with other Scrum Masters or Project Managers where delivery is across teams
* Facilitating continuous improvement strategies within the team(s)
* building self-organising teams
* Managing delivery related assumptions, issues and risks in alignment with the risk framework
* Ensuring all necessary governance frameworks are adhered to and approvals gained

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:

* Agile / Scrum certification
* Relevant Business or Technology degree
* Experience previously working in a Scrum team as a Scrum Master
* Previous experience working in a Digital software delivery environment
* Proven experience in ability to motivate and inspire teams
* Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding, and application, of the Agile Manifesto, Scrum and Servant Leadership
* Exceptional communication skills, including facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution
* Experience with Agile collaboration and reporting tools e.g. JIRA/Confluence
