As the Digital Design Engineer at Moog you will… * Design, develop, modify, and evaluate complex digital designs that interface with electronics, electro-mechanical or mechanical components, assemblies or integrated circuitry for actuation systems or Avionics equipment. * Includes new design, as well as modification activities that results in significant product enhancement. * Activities encompass design, analysis, testing, and process development using engineering principles and methods. * Technical integrated circuits; and embedded software/firmware design. * Designs will have emphasis on high reliability flight critical applications designed to DO254 Level A requirements. Minimum qualifications to be considered… * Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering * 5+ years relevant experience * Developing complex electronics using digital IC’s, microprocessors, field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), and digital signal processors * Hardware modeling and simulation using VHDL or Verilog * Design assurance including static analysis, critical timing analysis, and fault injection testing * Design implementation, including logic synthesis, static timing analysis, and directing the placement, routing, and finishing of the integrated circuit design process * Capturing test vectors and working closely with firmware, software, and systems engineers to ensure thorough characterization and validation of all functional requirements * Electrical laboratory test setup planning, design and debug * Experience developing digital architecture for flight critical motor applications desired * Experience working with FPGA designs that have been qualified to DO254 Level A is desired * VHDL Coding of Complex high-speed digital logic * DOORS experience is a plus * US Citizen Only (active or previous security clearance preferred) EOE/AA/Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Disability/Veteran
