Job Role:
Development Engineer to carry out research, analysis and design of mechanical and electrical, systems integration for Ground support equipment products for an Aviation Company based in Dorset
You will work within the Product Support Department to manage analyse and evaluate technical data, products and systems for new and existing Ground Support Equipment performing engineering studies to evaluate product and or system design options. You will need a solid understanding of Ground Support Equipment together with experience of projects.
Skills and responsibilities of a Development Engineer
· Knowledge of requirements management tools (DOORS, CRADLE etc)
· Knowledge of environmental standards (RTCA DO160, MIL-STD-810 etc)
· Performing environmental and functional testing experience
· Development of engineering activities and understanding of product lifecycles.
· Compliance requirements, specifications, verification and configuration
· Performance demonstrations and trials
· Ground Support and Test Equipment detail, Packaging, Handling, HAZMAT identification, Parts and Spares detailing
