Development Engineers on a contract basis to test equipment and Auxiliary Mission Equipment for range of customers based in Dorset for 6 month contract
Hours: 37 per week (overtime is available and is paid at standard rate)
The systems require many leading edge technologies. You will work as part of the engineering team carrying out testing at equipment and system levels capturing test evidence across different areas of the business. You will work as part of the engineering team at IPT level or at product level supporting test activities to demonstrate function and performance in environment.
The majority of the work will be carried out at external test facilities in the UK although occasional overseas (infrequent) travel may be required.
Skills & Experience of Development Engineer
Relevant degree or equivalent
Experience of requirements management tools (DOORS, CRADLE etc.)
Knowledge of environmental standards (RTCA DO160, MIL-STD-810 etc.)
Experience of performing environmental and functional testing
Experience of development engineering activities and understanding of product lifecycles.
Aerospace test environment experience
Working with RTCA DO160 & MIL-STD-810 standards testing products.
Environmental Test experience within an Aerospace arena
Ability to document Quality Test Plans and Quality Test Results
