Design Organisations Approval (DOA) Team Leader - Cologne, Germany

EASA is looking fora Design Organisations Approval (DOA) Team Leader, AD6 (f/m)The Design Organisations Approval (DOA) Team Leader will ensure the efficient conduct of investigations of Design Organisations under his/ her responsibility, for both initial demonstration of capability and continued surveillance.

 

Your responsibilities:

• Lead and represent teams during technical assessments

• Conduct initial investigation andcontinuous surveillance in accordancewith set procedures

• Provide expert input in standardisationand/or accreditation and/or rulemakingactivities

• Give feedback on the performanceof approved organisations in orderto support the appropriate level ofinvolvement in the field of productcertification

• Organise the assessment of foreign authorities (Article 8.2)

 

Your skills:

• Education and/or training in aeronauticalengineering or other related subjects

• At least 3 years of experience in aviationdesign organisation environment, or inaircraft or aviation engine certificationactivities or monitoring or oversight

• Proven knowledge of EASA regulatory envi-ronment in the organisation approval field

• Detailed knowledge of Part 21, speciallySubpart J, associated Acceptable Meansof Compliance (AMC) and GuidanceMaterial (GM)

• Experience in auditing, preferably in thefield of Design Organisation Approvalor Product Organisation Approval
