Part B - Job/Person Specification
The job is working within the Portsmouth Design Office on Telecoms Satellites. You will be in the Kit Provider team which is responsible for providing AIT (Assembly Integration & Test) with the Installation drawings and Bill of Materials needed to Build and Test the Payload
The successful candidate will be performing the following tasks:-
1.) Creation of 3D Installation drawings needed to build and test a Telecoms Satellite Payload.
2.) Use the Company PDM system (Windchill) to view, update & validate the Bill of Materials.
3.) 3D Solid Modelling.
4.) 2D Detailing.
Qualifications and/or Skills:
Essential: Degree/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - This role would suit a recent graduate as training is given.
Good communication skills at all levels.
Experience of CATIA V5 (e.g. in industrial placement, university project etc).
Desirable: Knowledge of VPM and PDM system.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Previous Experience:
Desirable: Exposure to CATIA V5, V6, Delmia
