Job Description

CACI is seeking a Data Engineer to provide Tier-2 support to CACI system administrators, assist with upgrades and maintenance of the Air and Marines Operations Surveillance System and other ancillary systems. The engineer will work closely with software engineers, database administrators and testers. The engineer will be responsible for updating maintenance manuals and other documentation as required by the contract’s Statement of Work.

What You’ll Get to Do:

* Develop and maintain a web-based data mining and visualization tool.
* Develop and maintain machine learning models for identifying suspect behavior in flight movement data.
* Work closely with software developers, database administrators, and testers.
* Assist with the integration of data from the Air and Marine Operations Surveillance System (AMOSS) and other external systems into the database and machine learning models.
* Work with and assist E&I Team members as required.
* Provide technical input to system Change Request.
* Update Maintenance Manuals, User Manuals and other contract required documentation.
* Provide Tier-2 support to CACI System Administrators.
* Perform work related to customer tasking as directed by CACI E&I Manager or Site Manager.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

* M.S or M.A. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or comparable technical field OR B.S. or B.A. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or comparable technical field PLUS ten (10) years of verifiable experience in data analytics.
* Must be a US Citizen
* Must be able to attain a US Government Top Secret Security Clearance
* Must be able to successfully pass and maintain a CBP Background Investigation (BI)
* Must have a solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Machine Learning and Object-Oriented design
* Must have experience with C++ or Java
* Must have experience with Web Development languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP
* Experience with Elasticsearch preferred
* Experience with Oracle Database preferred
* Experience with Oracle Database Administration preferred
