Zenon Aviation have been commissioned by a leading UK based Airline to source a Crewing Supervisor for their operation in East Midlands.

The purpose of the role is to supervise the Crewing Officers and Travel & Hotac Administrator in their key tasks and responsibilities in regard to ensuring both all scheduled and non-scheduled flights are crewed satisfactorily.

Shift/hours: 

•    Monday – Friday, 9-5 but will be expected to cover Crewing Officer shifts when required during absence and holidays.

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:

•    Maintaining standards of quality and productivity of crew and aircraft utilization
•    Ensure all flights are conducted in accordance with the Company FTL scheme and Crew Scheduling agreements.
•    Perform recurrent training on Crewing & Hotac departmental staff
•    Conduct on-going improvements of the AIMS system ensuring system is developed and utilized to its full potential
•    Liaise on a day to day basis with the Cabin Crew and Flight Deck Members on all matters relating to Crewing
•    Authorize leave for Crewing and Hotac. Cover leave and sickness for departmental staff as and when required
•    Review all current processes within the Crewing & Hotac Department on an on-going basis and implement process change in line with company requirements.
•    Work closely with the Rostering Supervisor ensuring robust planning and delivery of crew rosters 
•    Liaison with the Rostering Team to maintain standards of quality and productivity in the planning of training and recovery if disrupted.
•    Review crewing training syllabi on an annual basis
•    Ensure the Hotac and travel budget is checked, adhered to and reported on a monthly basis
•    Conduct quarterly audits of the aircrew accumulator
•    Sit on Fatigue Safety Action Group representing the department
•    Collate monthly Aircrew Sickness Records
•    Process monthly crew expense and mileage claims
•    Any other responsibilities required by the Crewing & Operations Manager and Head of OCC

Knowledge / Skills & Level Required:

•    EASA Flight Time Limitation knowledge
•    Experience or knowledge of AIMS system
•    Supervisory experience is essential
•    Airline operational experience is also essential
