Overview

Ensure efficient coverage of operation within the STP window of responsibility.

Responsibilities

* Ensure that open legs are covered within the Short Term planning horizon
* Ensure that leg coverage and general use of Crewmembers is efficient
* Ensure regulatory and contract compliance of all assignments
* Ensure that productivity and operational standards are met
* Produce regular reports as requested by the Senior Manager, Crew Planning
* Ensure that a crewing solution is in place for all difficult airports and advise management if a crewing solution is undone or improbable
* Run monthly bid awards

Qualifications

* Thorough understanding Crew Planning and Crew Scheduling methodologies
* Thorough knowledge of AIMS
* Thorough knowledge of the relevant Federal Aviation Regulations
* Strong communication and decision making skills
* Detailed knowledge of world geography as it relates to aircraft and crew movements and crew positioning
* Knowledge of the ALPA/Atlas CBA & AACS Pilot Contract
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to function in a high-stress environment
* Must have worked as a Crew Resource Controller
