Job Role:

Assist in the planning of efficient bid lines for the crew members within contractual deadlines. Help to manage crew bidding tools in order to facilitate smooth bid processes. Create and maintain accurate notes/checklists for department functions.

Responsibilities

Reserve Grids – Plan reserve grids in order to maximize coverage on weekends and holidays to provide the most workable resource for Crew Scheduling

FLiCA – Run Initial Open Time bids. Help troubleshoot issues from both management and crew member sides of the bidding process.

Notes/Checklists – Revamp existing checklist notebook, update where necessary. Create more checklists to better define department functions.

Calendar – Fill out calendar to reflect contractual deadlines and attempt to spread out Planning Dept. workload.

Misc. Tasks – Transition/recovery, pairing/award load in crew trac, relief line construction, hotel data maintenance, whatever else anyone needs help with.

Crew Pay Automation – Coordinate with Rainmaker, Crew Pay, and PMO to move the project along to ensure pay accuracy and timeliness.

Analytical ability to use tools and resources to find root causes of problems and create solutionsDedicated to providing the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost

Design effective processes, procedures, and practices that eliminate complexity and streamline execution

Ability to communicate effectively via creating emails, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.

Committed to continuous improvement and willing to redesign processes if necessary

Uses logic, data, and accurate analysis to solve difficult problems and provide effective solutions

Looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at first answers or solutions.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED

1-2 years Experience in planning/scheduling/forecasting

Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office; Experience in Excel a must

Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Strong sense of financial responsibility.

Positive attitude and work well with others.

Think outside the box attitude.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs or technical developments.)
