Summary:

NAVBLUE, an Airbus Company, has an opening for a Contracts Specialist, who will provide a broad range of paralegal, sales support, contract support, administrative and related services. 

We are looking for someone who possesses strong analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills. This individual will be responsible for extensive contract review, approval and referral of contracts for further action. This role is cross-functional and must be able to make independent decisions and work closely with the Legal, Sales, Product and Finance teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Administer domestic and international contracts ensuring the interests of the Company are protected.
  • Provides contractual support to the organization for all agreements and contract administration activities.
  • Promote positive internal and external customer relationships.
  • Meet with sales and business development to discuss contract status, answer questions and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Establish and enforce company’s contract execution policy and procedures.
  • Draft and review non-standard contracts prior to external release.
  • Establish and maintain customer contract files and contract database.
  • Process and transmit correspondence pertaining to contracts; organize, file and distribute executed contract.
  • Responsible for maintaining standard contract and product schedule templates.
  • Support proposal process related to the review of contractual terms and conditions.
  • Provide contract support, review and guidance for procurement activities, as required.

 

Academic/Educational Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business or related field.
  • Paralegal certificate or comparable preferred.

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years paralegal or equivalent business experience. 
  • Experience with sales and/or procurement contracts.
  • Strong document drafting and proofreading skills; attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and ability to work in a team environment with all levels of employees.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a large workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Motivated self-starter with positive attitude.
