Zenith Aviation Limited, a Sunday Times Best Company to work for are looking to recruit a Continuing Airworthiness Manager to hold the nominated post as required by M.A.706(d), to be responsible for the management and supervision of continuing airworthiness activities. The position is full time and based at London Biggin Hill Airport 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervision of the Continuing Airworthiness Department.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Airworthiness regulations.
  • Manage the continuing airworthiness of the Company fleet and the subcontracted aircraft.
  • Develop and control the Company maintenance programmes as appropriate.
  • Carry out Airworthiness Reviews and preparation for issue of initial Certificates of Airworthiness.
  • Assess Airworthiness Directives & OEM service information and ensure application as necessary within required timescales.
  • Ensure the timely updating and accuracy of the Continuing Airworthiness records system.
  • Ensure that log books are maintained accurately and updated within required timescales.
  • Liaise with Company personnel and customers regarding maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure selection of appropriate maintenance contractors when external Part 145 organisations are required to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Compile reports as necessary to support parts programmes such as Bombardier Smart Parts and Honeywell MSP.
  • Facilitate audits by Aviation Authorities and Financial Institutions as required.

 

Qualifications/requirements:

 

  • Must be acceptable to the UK CAA to hold a Form 4 position for Continuing Airworthiness and preferably have held a similar position previously.
  • Must be appropriately qualified as required by AMC M.A.706 and M.A. 707(a).
  • Must have appropriate experience and training on relevant aircraft types.
  • Must have experience in a business aviation environment.
