You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role within the Core Engineering group, you will;

- Planning the configuration activities relevant for a Program (this includes the tool definition, the writing of procedures, the planning of Audits, and reports), in order to meet relevant Industry Standards and business transformation objectives

- Support the initiatives of the Core Engineering, to improve the processes and tools used in the management of the Bombardier Aerospace data (PDM System), in response to the Projects needs or through the participation to the BA Achieving Excellence System (AES)

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You are technologist and a college diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience

- In the Engineering Data and/or Configuration Management

- In the standards used for Configuration and Quality management

- In the PDM and/or ERP systems, with the capability to develop data/process models, and good computer skills

- English & French written and spoken

- Good methodological skills and are organized

- You are able to maintain effective working relationship with others.

- Demonstrate positive mindset, teamwork and strong communication skills

- Autonomous and ready to work in a fast paced environment

- Flexible, adaptable, have imitative and self-discipline

- Aeronautic expertise would be an important asset
