Job Description
Deliver weapon systems interoperability development, testing and evaluation involving data links with high-performance, real-time avionics, hardware-in-the-loop simulations in support of the China Lake F/A-18 Advanced Weapons Laboratory (AWL).
Essential Job Functions:
Provide and support high-performance hardware-in-the-loop, real-time aircraft simulations.
Perform interoperability testing and evaluation of various data link systems.
Provide OpenVMS operating system administration, programming, performance monitoring and tuning.
Facilitate Microsoft platforms operating systems performance monitoring and tuning, as well as software development.
Provide UNIX operating systems administration and software development.
Perform software development and systems administration on various Linux distributions.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Engineering Bachelors Degree.
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of DoD weapons systems interoperability development, test, and evaluation experience.
Knowledge of L-16 RF and antenna operations and functionality.
Experience with engineering electrical power distributers and power supplies.
