We have an opportunity for a hardworking Maintenance Repair Overhaul Engineer located in Oklahoma City, OK (Tinker Airforce Base).

This position is in the Compression Systems Engineering organization located at Tinker Airforce Base in Oklahoma.

The project engineer will be a member of the Engineering team that supports the overhaul of F135 engines which power the F35 Joint Strike Fighter. The maintenance, repair and overhaul scope includes engine hardware inspection, data gathering and analysis of new, used, and repaired parts, modules and engines. You will be working with shop personnel and the engineering staff to develop, maintain, and improve cleaning, inspection, repair, and build methods, as well as working as a member of the engine improvement program team.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
* 5+ years of engineering experience in repair overhaul
* US Citizenship due to government contracts.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent Judgment and professional maturity
* Ability to build positive relationships and craft clear communication
* Proven ability to organize and execute several components of complex tasks
* Working knowledge of continuous improvement principles Collaborate with other groups to advance technology and improve engineering standard work processes/methods
