Composites Technician

Job Description

*Day and Night Shifts Available

Manufacture of composite parts for the Jassm Missile program. These parts include wings, elevons and tails. Vartm processing is used with epoxy resin, fiberglass and carbon fiber to manufacture the composite parts.

Job Experience:

Employee must be detail oriented and able to follow and understand Detailed Work Instructions (DWI’s) while working safely, meeting rigorous delivery schedules with a high emphasis on quality.

Employee must be able to read and understand shop drawings.

Employee must work well with their hands and have general experience running pneumatic grinding tools, sanders.

Employee must have experience in working to time standards and maintain acceptable efficiencies.

Employee must work well in a teaming environment.

Employee must be willing to work any shift with weekends and overtime if required.

Any experience with lay-up of composites, painting, sanding, and auto- body will be helpful.

Basic math and reading skills are required.
